Written accolades on paper really don’t make me who I am today. I am truly appreciative for my educational background at Loyola Marymount University, however I am most grateful for my innate ability to create and develop innovative ideas and concepts.
From childhood I have thought of, and written down ideas, that are now multi million dollar companies. I would try to bring them to fruition, but I would always hit brick walls. I was always defeated by the word no, lack of funds, and the lack of support from family.
That didn’t stop me from being an entrepreneur though. In middle school I made handmade keychains and decorative pillows that were a big hit with my school and the high school up the street. When I got to high school I sold over 50 donuts each day to students and bought my first car that way. I have always and will always be an entrepreneur.
I could have been the mastermind behind ideas such as Windex wipes, Uber, iPhone’s personalized Memojis, and much more, all before even attending high school but I didn’t have the resources I needed in order to make those happen, and someone else did. The fact that I have seen so many of my ideas go on to be lucrative has kept me driven and taught me to go beyond my resource to make whatever I need to happen, happen.
I am a creator, an entrepreneur, an innovator, and a concept curator.
